Practice Nurse

Experienced Practice Nurse required to cover maternity leave (one year) at two site practice located on the edge of Berkshire/Surrey

This is a part time role to cover maternity leave. Hours would be flexible up to 25 a week.

We are a friendly and busy two site GP surgery looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Practice Nurse with a strong emphasis on good teamwork and flexibility to join our team. The ideal candidate is a Registered Nurse with excellent clinical skills, competent in all usual treatment room tasks, including baby immunisations and management of chronic disease.

If you are a Practice Nurse looking for a new challenge and are passionate about patient care we can offer you flexible hours, full induction and training. The successful candidate will join the current team of two RNs, one Assistant Practitioner and two Health Care Assistants.

Experience in QOF; Diabetes, COPD, Asthma, Chronic Disease Management, general Nurse duties e.g. Ear syringing and dressings as well as Travel Immunisations and Childhood Immunisations. Using clinical systems ideally EMIS.

Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist/ESP

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced enthusiastic Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist/Extended Scope Physiotherapist to join Ringmead Medical Practice as First Contact Practitioner.

We are an innovative GP practice who utilise extensive allied health professionals for patient care which includes a fulltime community paramedic practitioner, practice pharmacist and nurse led minor illness clinic.

The post holder will assess musculo-skeletal problems commonly presenting within primary care. The successful candidate will be mentored by the GPs, and will have the opportunity to further shape and develop this role with the support of our enthusiastic and progressive practice team

This role will suit someone who is either currently working in an MSK Extended Scope role or an experienced MSK Physiotherapist who has the maturity and clinical reasoning skills.

You would be expected to assess, investigate, and manage patients in face to face clinics. Management might also include offering injection therapy.

Advanced Paramedic Practitioner

We are seeking to recruit a qualified Advanced Paramedic Practitioner to join our friendly, forward thinking Practice.

The post holder will work closely with the GPs and other healthcare professionals, including our current Paramedic Practitioner, as part of our multidisciplinary team dealing with 'on the day' appointments at the surgery as well as home visits for our housebound population.

The success of our current Paramedic Practitioner has highlighted the value of this role within primary care, and therefore we are looking to extend this role further by recruiting a second paramedic.

The successful candidate will be mentored by the GPs and our Paramedic Practitioner, and will have the opportunity to further shape and develop this role with the support of our enthusiastic and progressive practice team.
