Flu Jabs

We strongly endorse the NHS advice that flu jabs should be given each year to the following groups:

  • Everyone aged 65 years or over
  • Patients with certain long-term illnesses including:
    - Asthma, chronic bronchitis and other chest problems
    - Chronic heart disease
    - Diabetes mellitus
    - Chronic Liver Disease
    - Chronic kidney disease or
    - Suppressed immunity (due to disease or treatment)
    - Carers

We have flu clinics in the autumn. These are run by the practice nurses.
